Writing

Welcome to my website.  Here I hope to give you a glimpse into what I do.  My first novel began as an idea back in 2016 after one of many visits to Mallorca. Since then it's morphed into two separate stories. I'm actively writing now and my aim is to publish my work in 2027-2028. 

I have completed many proof-reading jobs and have also had articles published in print (Spiritus Media, 2019, Writing Magazine, 2021)


I wrote a few children's books during the covid lockdown which I self-published on Amazon:

Besides writing, I've been painting for most of my life.  From oils on canvas during the lockdown periods to more recent urban sketching and watercolour house portraits, I'm always happy with a paintbrush in hand. More of my art can be seen on Instagram @artatnumber2 

I have also dabbled in clay and ceramics, making jewellery and gifts for friends and family. Whether they're actually much use is open to debate! I'd like to do a proper course at some stage as I love the feeling you get when your hand-made pot emerges all beautifully glazed from the kiln!
